Cultural exchange with dance, music and fun
Teatro Trono visited Grenaa Gymnasium in early November, and the school’s Spanish learners in STX 2nd and 3rd year and IB got an insight into Bolivian culture and society in a different way than in Spanish lessons.
Spanish learners at Grenaa Gymnasium received a visit from Teatro Trono from Bolivia on November 9th.
The troupe consists of 5 young people and their instructor.
During almost a whole school day, there was first mime and dance workshop and after that the theater troupe’s performance ‘The Song of the Spirits’, which critically conveys messages about environmental problems and inequality between the sexes, and which criticizes the prevailing passivity that makes it not being taken care of the problems.
As the pictures show, the students had some fun hours together with the energetic guests from Bolivia. It was cultural exchange with high pulse and happy faces.lea
