We are ready to welcome you.
Arrival
When you arrive at the boarding school, the boarding teachers, other staff, and tutors will welcome you.
Tutors are 2nd or 3rd-year students at the boarding school. They know what it’s like to be new at the boarding school and have to get to know everything and everyone.
You will be introduced to your tutor, who will work with you to ensure a good start to boarding school life.
Tutors and contact teachers
During the first month at the boarding school, there are plenty of introductory activities that provide you with a great opportunity to make new friends.
Tutors will show you around the boarding school and the town of Grenaa.
One of the boarding teachers will become your contact teacher.
As a student that has been living at boarding for almost 2 years, I want to say that it is a place that you can’t replace. People are not judging you by the way you behave or look. I mean, not only teachers but students too.
Your room at the Boarding School is already furnished, but you are welcome to bring your own furniture.
Most students share a double room in their first year.
Our rooms are located in different areas near the school and in the main building of the boarding school.
The rooms are maximum 500 meters from the school.
Most double rooms have their own bathroom and toilet.

Free access to high-speed WiFi and cable TV connections are provided.
Each room comes with a bed, desk, wardrobe, and bookshelf.
You are welcome to bring your own furniture if you prefer.
In the main building, there are shared newly renovated toilets and bathrooms on each floor.
In the other areas, there are either enclosed bathrooms shared by a few students or private bathrooms for individual rooms.
You may want to bring a bathrobe.
Our common areas offer you many opportunities to both focus on your schoolwork and socialize with other boarding school students.

Study Rooms
You can use the study rooms for private purposes if you arrange it with the duty boarding school teacher well in advance.

Please note that the use of the boarding school’s fitness room and other sports facilities is at your own risk!
If you have a guest, you need to purchase meal tickets for them.
