Study lines with science
STX Science offers two higher level science subjects and one middle level science subject.
You gain practical experience in investigating nature.
You gain scientific insight and understanding of the physical world, from the largest and farthest to the smallest and closest.
From galaxies to atoms
What causes volcanoes and earthquakes?
How can it become possible for humans to live on Mars?
How clean is the water in our local stream, Grenåen?
You can participate in creating and performing a chemistry show and present it at Kattegatcentret.
Or how about getting into a wetsuit and snorkeling gear to explore marine life in the sea at Grenaa Beach?
You micht get to assist researchers in finding new antibiotics in the shrubbery around the gymnasium.
We go on excursions to for example Aarhus, where researchers demonstrate how they work. Maybe you’ll even get a chance to put your hand inside a cow’s stomache!
