Sharing academic immersion, reflection and mutual respect
At Grenaa Gymnasium, we work based on three core values: academic immersion, reflection, and mutual respect.
Academic immersion means that the purpose of attending the gymnasium for STX, HF, or IB is for you to acquire knowledge and skills in a wide range of subjects.
You will do this together with your classmates and teachers.
Reflection means that your horizons expand because, at Grenaa Gymnasium, we come together to inspire each other and be curious together.
Together, we gain new insights about people, cultures, and nature. This happens through classroom teaching, when we engage in various extracurricular activities, and when we go on trips together in Denmark and abroad.
Reflection also means that together we generate new ideas and find solutions to everyday and global problems.
Mutual respect means that we want to see each other grow academically, socially, and personally.
Therefore, we expect you to be part of the responsibility for creating a safe environment where everyone can learn in class, experience their horizons expanding, and feel like a part of the community.
