The boarding school is completely closed during the Christmas holiday and the Summer holiday

However, the following exceptions apply to all holidays exept the summer holiday:

All students can remain one day longer until 5 PM at the start of a holiday and return one day earlier at 2 pM.  

 It costs 125 DKK pr day and you must register no later than 14 days before the holiday begins.

The following exeptions apply to the autumn, winter and Easter holidays:

• Students in IB2, 3.g, and 2.HF who live on Campus Djursland can stay in their own room.

It costs 125 DKK per day and must be registered no later than 14 days before the holiday begins.

• All other students have the opportunity to rent a single or double room on Campus Djursland.

It costs 1250 DKK per holiday. If you share af double room with another student the price is 625 DKK pr person.

You must register no later than 14 days before the holiday begins. 

Information on deadlines

All registration deadlines are always stated in an information letter before each holiday.
No refund will be given for payment of a stay after the deadline.

Move-in for new students is on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. 

All first-year students and new students in IB1 start school on Monday, August 10. 

If you already live at the boarding school, you are welcome back on Monday, August 10, from 2:00 PM. 

All continuing students who are not new to the school start school on Tuesday, August 11. 

Summer Holidays 2025:
The boarding school opens for continuing students on Monday, 11 August 2025 at 2 pm.

Autumn Break:
The boarding school closes for students on Friday, 10 October 2025 at 5 pm.
The boarding school opens for students on Sunday, 19 October 2025 at 2 pm.

Christmas Holidays:
The boarding school closes for students on Friday, 19 December 2025 at 5 pm.
The boarding school opens for students on Sunday, 4 January 2026 at 2 pm.

Winter Break:
The boarding school closes for students on Friday, 6 February 2026 at 5 pm.
The boarding school opens for students on Sunday, 15 February 2026 at 2 pm.

Easter Holidays:
The boarding school closes for students on Friday, 27 March 2026 at 5 pm.
The boarding school opens for students on Monday, 6 April 2026 at 2 pm.

Ascension Day:
The boarding school is open to students during the Ascension break.
(Thursday, 14 May to Friday, 15 May 2026)

Pentecost:
Monday, 25 May 2026
The boarding school is open to students during the Pentecost break.

Summer Holidays 2026:
IB2 students must move out from the boarding school no later than Saturday, 31 May 2026 at 5 pm. The boarding school closes for all other students on Friday, 26 June 2026 at 5 pm.

The boarding school always closes at 5 pm last school day before a break/holiday.
The boarding school always opens at 2 pm the day before the school opens.

Summer Holidays 2026:
The boarding school opens for continuing students on Monday, 10 August 2026 at 2 pm.

Autumn Break:
The boarding school closes for students on Friday, 9 October 2026 at 5 pm.
The boarding school opens for students on Sunday, 18 October 2026 at 2 pm.

Christmas Holidays:
The boarding school closes for students on Friday, 18 December 2026 at 5 pm.
The boarding school opens for students on Sunday, 3 January 2027 at 2 pm.

Winter Break:
The boarding school closes for students on Friday, 12 February 2027 at 5 pm.
The boarding school opens for students on Sunday, 21 February 2027 at 2 pm.

Easter Holidays:
The boarding school closes for students on Friday, 19 March 2027 at 5 pm.
The boarding school opens for students on Monday, 29 March 2027 at 2 pm.

Ascension Day:
The boarding school is open to students during the Ascension break.
(Thursday, 6 May to Friday, 7 May 2027)

Pentecost: Monday, 17 May 2027
The boarding school is open to students during the Pentecost break.

Summer Holidays 2027:
IB2 students must move out of the boarding school no later than Monday, 31 May 2027 at 5 pm. The boarding school closes for all other students on Friday, 25 June 2027 at 5 pm.
