A good start for everyone
At the beginning of the school year, there are a number of activities in addition to lessons, which give the new students the opportunity to get to know each other and build a good class community.
On the first day of school, they must work together to find their way around the school and solve problems in different subjects. The winners get a symbolic prize, but that is not the main thing.
During the first couple of weeks, all classes dance folk dances. It’s fun, no one is an expert and everyone can join in.
All first-year classes also go on an overnight trip to Karpenhøj Outdoor Centre. The afternoon is spent on a number of team-building exercises, which always bring out both concentration, sweat and good laughs. In the evening, the students cook their own food over a fire and the night is spent in the site’s shelters.
