A strong tradition has evolved at Grenaa Gymnasium to among the best fundraising schools measured against the number of students enrolled. Last year the combined efforts at Grenaa Gymnasium resulted in a donation of more than 10.000 kroner which was third-best among upper-secondary schools in Denmark.

Tremendous support from local businesses

The fundraising activities at Grenaa Gymnasium are organized by the students in the Global Committee,  and even the corona lock down will not hinder for example the tombola. This simply goes online. Like previous years the backing from local companies has been tremendous as our students have experienced so much positive response. In December before the lock down one of the local bakers backed a honey cake sale, and for the tombola no less than forty businesses in the local area have sponsored prizes.
