The students very own show
Every other year, students, together with especially the music teachers, create a theatrical concert built around a series of numbers in different genres.
This year, around 75 students from STX, HF and IB participated in creating “A Symphony of Sights”. Based on the theme of “journey”, a small steering group consisting of students and a single teacher selected songs and devised staging. They held the red thread – or the red suitcase – tight for several months, while the many groups, each with their own tasks, were busy creating the performance.
Everything was done on a voluntary basis and after school hours. In the last weekend before the dress rehearsal, all the threads were gathered, and during the two performances, the audience was taken on an exciting journey through time and through universal human emotions and experiences.
