The music cafés are alcohol-free Friday gatherings with music as the focal point.
They always take place in the cafeteria, but this time the assembly hall had to be used as well because it had been possible to persuade a couple of talented Pre-IB students to play pieces by Chopin on the grand piano there.
Students with music at A-level performed the pieces they had rehearsed on Study Day. In addition, various students performed pieces they simply wanted to share – completely in the spirit of the music café.
All in all, a very dignified and enjoyable conclusion to this year’s music cafés.
