Language and Exchange Trips in Europe

Erasmus+

Focus on Culture, Climate, and Inclusion

Grenaa Gymnasium is accredited for the EU’s Erasmus+ program.

As a student at Grenaa Gymnasium, your teenager therefore has the opportunity to go on a language trip in their second year and participate in exchange projects with schools within the EU.

Erasmus+ finances a significant part of the expenses.

New Friends, Better Understanding, More Empowerment

On language trips as well as during exchange projects, our students meet young people from other European countries and have ample opportunity to use their second aquired language firsthand and gain direct insight into the country’s daily life and culture in a broader sense.

The students gain concrete experiences of both European diversity and what we have in common.

More Empowerment

The programs include collaborative activities focusing on climate challenges, cultural encounters, and on how we can all contribute to including each other in communities across differences.

The students exchange knowledge and jointly consider what options they have as citizens and young people to address these challenges.

Grenaa Gymnasium collaborates with schools in Spain, France, Germany, and Poland.
