Grenaa Gymnasium hosted a week’s Erasmus exchange with our friends from Carboneras and Lübeck
Water as a resource and a challenge was the theme that linked the days of the week together when students and teachers from I.E.S. Juan Goytisolo school in Carboneras, Spain, and Thomas-Mann-Schule in Lübeck, Germany, came to Grenaa for a week in September.
Very appropriately, the rain poured down on the first day as the guests and their hosts were introduced to each other and the theme of the week. They immediately began to exchange their personal experiences with water, thus setting the stage for the week to explore and reflect on water as a resource and a challenge for our cultural heritage, society, and nature.
The theme allowed for a wide-ranging programme that included, for example, fieldwork in nature and a visit to the Aros Art Museum in Aarhus.
Fortunately, it only rained on the first day, and the Danish late summer showed itself from its best side for the rest of the week.
