Det vi er fælles om var temaet for årets Kulturaften i Grenaa

Grenaa Gymnasiums bidrag til Kulturaften 2025 i Grenaa

Students from Grenaa Gymnasium were once again actively involved in this year’s Culture Night in Grenaa. The theme was “What We Share.”

In the Pavillion, IB students expressed their creativity
on a large shared piece of paper, and in the small hall, Grenaa Gymnasium’s choir and the Grenaa Brass Ensemble performed a joint concert.

At Arresten—a venue run collectively by young people—some of the music students coveredpop songs by contemporary Danish artists.

Last but not least, there was a reading of St. St. Blicher’s poem about Søren Kanne at his statue in the town square. The poem tells the true story of Søren Kanne, a local peasant, who saved some sailors from Zealand from drowning. The poem became an instant hit when it was
published in 1838, as it resonated with the growing notions at that time of national unity across regions and economic sectors.
