Contemporary themes at the art museum
The IB students visited Aros Art Museum i Aros before Christmas. They investigated Barbara Kruger’s No Comment exhibition.
Within the year geoup many English A students study Kruger’s work through the lens of global issues such as consumerism, feminism, race, class etc. The students were guided round the exhibition by a knowledeable member of the Aros staff.
A fun an educational experience was had by all. The students also looked round the city of Aarhus at street art relating to the UN sustainablility goals, relating it to CAS.
The day was finished off with a visit to Salling Rooftop.
