STX- og HF-elever på tur med et af deres valgfag

Erhvervsøkonomi Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri Grenaa Gymnasium

Last week, the business economics students went on company visits in the local area. One group visited Ebeltoft Gårdbryggeri, where co-owner Helle Høgh gave a tour of the production and explained how the different beers are brewed.

Helle talked about the company’s startup, customer base, growth, and how they try to differentiate themselves in a market with strong competitors. The students were introduced to the brewery’s newest product – cola with and without cola, featuring a new and different logo. A lovely visit in the sun with good tastings and lots of business-related questions from the students.

The other group visited Nymark & Fogh Teknik ApS. Søren Nymark welcomed the students and showed them around the production halls. Here, the students could see the production of various aluminum parts used in radiators, machines, and solar cells. Søren talked about his entrepreneurial journey, the company’s focus on sustainability and marketing, as well as their future ambitions.

STX electives

HF electives

At Grenaa Gymnasium, one of the elective subjects is business economics, which both HF and STX students can choose as a one-year subject. When you study business economics, visiting af company in the real world is part of the curriculum, and fortunately, local companies are happy to receive visits. Thank you very much for that!
