Nurturing Talent
For those who have the desire and will to cultivate professional interests even more.
On June 24th at 9 a.m. Angie Hansen Tanaka and Charlotte Lunøe Rohde were the first STX students to finish their final exam at Grenaa Gymnasium and an hour later Josefine Bøgelund Nielsen was this year’s first HF graduate.
Angie and Charlotte both sat for oral exams in history and Josefine in Danish language and literature. Students in other classes sat for exams in Chemistry and Greek and Roman Classics.
In keeping with tradition the national flag was hoised together with Head of School Helene Bendorff Kristensen and with technical support from janitor assistant Erik Rasmussen. During the day relatives would come to congratulate their particular student and have a cup of coffee and a cookie in the assembly hall.
It is expected that a total of 106 STX-students and 47 HF students will graduate from Grenaa Gymnasium this year. In addition to that 42 IB students finished their final exams in May.
